Teapot is an important part of tea set. It is mainly used to make tea. Some people directly use small teapots to make and hold tea and drink alone. The teapot is composed of a lid, a body, a bottom and a ring foot. Due to the subtle differences in handle, cover, bottom and shape, there are nearly 200 basic forms of teapots. When making tea, the size of the teapot depends on the number of tea drinkers. Teapots have many textures. At present, purple clay teapots or porcelain teapots are widely used.
1. According to the shape of the pot handle, it can be divided into: side lifting pot: the pot handle is ear shaped and opposite the pot mouth. Lifting beam pot: the handle of the pot is rainbow shaped above the lid. Flying pot: the handle of the pot is above one side of the pot body, flying like a ribbon.
2. According to the different shapes of the pot bottom, it can be divided into: bottom pressing pot: the bottom center of the teapot is pressed into an inner concave shape without adding enough. Nail foot pot: there are 3 protruding feet on the bottom of the teapot. Bottom pot: add this ring foot at the bottom of the teapot.
3. According to the shape of the pot cover, it can be divided into: gland pot: the pot cover is pressed flat on the pot mouth, and the pot mouth is not exposed. Covered pot: the pot cover is embedded in the pot, and the cover edge is flat with the pot mouth.
4. Teapots are divided into ordinary teapots (without inner liner) and filter teapots according to whether there is inner liner or not.
